It’s the last week of the HiB 30 Challenge and we want to thank every family who has participated this month! We’ve had a record number of participants. Over 1,300 families signed up to challenge themselves to hike 30 miles in 30 days or spend 30 minutes outside, 3 days a week. We can’t wait to tally up the numbers to see how far everyone hiked and how many hours have been spent outside! Last day to log your miles and minutes is May 3rd.

Looking to get out with us again this summer? Mark your calendars for National Trails Day on June 4th and find a hike near you. HiB has once again partnered with American Hiking Society as the best place to look for a family friendly hike on NTD. The HiB blog also has some tips on locating all-access trails in the National Parks. If there isn’t a hike near you, talk to your Branch Lead Team about leading a hike and adding it to both NTD’s and our calendar. Our goal is to get over 200 hikes on our calendar on June 4th and over 500 families out on the trail! We will have several prizes to give away from our title partners — KEEN, Deuter, Oakiwear, and Onya Baby. Hike Leads are automatically entered into a drawing and participants will be asked to fill out a form to be entered into a separate drawing.

Get ready to get your hike on for National Trails DayHike On is July 23rd and we are excited to celebrate Hike it Baby’s 3rd Birthday! The next HiB 30 Challenge is in September.

Hope to see you out on the trails this summer!
