Over the last month we held a “design a t-shirt” contest on the Hike it Baby Facebook page. We had numerous great entries! To enter, the designs had to be related to hiking and have an original design. They could be submitted as a digital file or hand drawn. Once the contest closed on November 20th Hike it Baby members cast their votes. With more than 350 votes, the winning design belonged to Alexandra Tebow of the HiB Salt Lake City Branch.

Meet Alex.

HiB T-shirt Contest Winner Alexandra Tebow (1)

I’m Alex; mom to two boys ages 19 months and 6 years. My husband and I are northern California natives who’ve been living in Utah for the last 4 years. We love exploring the fantastic hiking that the Wasatch Mountains have to offer. I discovered Hike it Baby when someone posted in a local babywearing group about a hike. Moms hiking and babywearing?? It was perfect for me. I have loved joining as many hikes as my schedule allows and even leading a few.

What was your inspiration for the design?

I’m also a freelance graphic artist and I was thrilled to be able to submit a few designs for the t-shirt contest. My inspiration was simple, just trees and hiking and I wanted to include when Hike it Baby was created.

Congratulations, Alex!

The winning Hike it Baby t-shirt design is now available for sale at Teespring for a limited time. The deadline to place an order is December 3rd.
