In partnership with the National Park Trust we are celebrating Kids to Parks Day, a national day of outdoor play, on May 19, 2018. By connecting with various parks, kids learn about park stewardship, outdoor recreation, and more.
Hikes can be hosted at any parks! Community, local, state, national parks all count. It’s a national day of play and does not need to be limited to hiking. Park and plays, nature activities, trail cleanups, for example, are all wonderful ways to get out into nature.
Let’s reach as many local, state or national parks across the country as possible on May 19th! Add your hike to the Hike it Baby calendar or search for a hike to attend. (Host a hike for Kids to Parks Day, read more here).
