What does it mean to be a Hike it Baby member? Our community boasts 350 branches across the country, 11,000+ hikers, hosts 1,400 hikes a month and spurs on 280,000 outdoor enthusiasts through social media. We consider all of these individuals and families part of our Hike it Baby community and work hard to support them. We create opportunities and removes barriers to access so families with babies and young children can take their first steps outside. We believe all families have the right to connect with nature, benefit from spending time outdoors, and be inspired to a lifelong love of nature.
One of the ways we support our community members and put our mission into action is through in-person hikes in the aforementioned branches. These branches are facilitated by volunteer Ambassadors and hike hosts. Anyone can create a free Hike it Baby account to access our hike calendar.

- A pop up will appear and you can select “free account” in the bottom left-hand corner
